Max Hattler and Noriko Okaku are some of the hottest young audio-visual artist in the world at the moment. Although their work is very different, there are several parallels in their experimental, semi-narrative, non-dialogue approach to animation. They have collaborated on the film Aanaatt with music by Japanese musician Jemapur, and on tour visuals for British band The Egg.
Max and Noriko also perform live audiovisual together. In Fredrikstad they will give a brand new performance they call /\/\/\ (pronounced 'ha, ha, ha!'). With projections on three screens and specially composed music this is the event to see on thursday.
