PHILIP HUNT
Philip Hunt is Co-Owner & Creative Director of Studio AKA, an animation production company based in London known for their idiosyncratic work in both Commercials & Short films. A graduate of both Central Saint Martins & The Royal College of Art, Hunt has created an eclectic range of animation projects for Orange, FIFA, Dyson and BMW to name but a few.
Alongside his ongoing role as AKA’s creative Director, Hunt’s diverse body of work also includes the multi-award winning short film 'Ah pook is Here', an interpretation of recordings by the late William S. Burroughs . His latest project was adapting and directing the half hour children’s animated film 'Lost and Found', based on Oliver Jeffers award winning children's book. 'Lost and Found' won the TV special award at this years Annecy festival.
In addition to his work with animation Philip Hunt holds regular lecture appearances worldwide, and also contributes his time as an external assessor, guest lecturer and advisory panel member for several institutions across Europe.
Philip Hunt is one of the key speakers at this years seminar on style and design in animation.
