TARIK SALEH

Tarik Saleh, born in stockholm 1972, has directed several award-winning creative documentaries, the latest being 'Gitmo – New Rules of War' (2005), awarded best documentary at the Seattle Film Festival and Special Grand Jury Mention at Miami Film Festival. Saleh started his career as a graffiti artist as a member of the internationally acclaimed All In One crew. His murals can still be spotted in suburbs west of Stockholm

He has written and produced over 30 short animation films and is one of the original founders of Atmo. He has gone on to write and produce two television drama series for television, started the legendary Swedish magazine ATLAS and served as art director for the Egyptian documentary magazine ALIVE.

Tarik is the director of the new Swedish feature film 'Metropia' and will be one of the speakers at this years seminar on style and design in animation. 'Metropia' will premiere at the opening of Fredrikstad Animation Festival.
