The worlds smallest cinema?
 
During this years Månefestival Fredrikstad Animation Festival and E6 Østfold Media Workshop revealed their brand new mobile cinema. It's a good old fashioned '77 caravan, redesigned and pimped to a be a mini-cinema on wheels.
 
After the launch interest has been booming and the Caravanima has already had cameos at Childrens Culture Night in Fredrikstad and during Momentum Art Exhibition in Moss. The latest appearance was at the Big Environmental Day in Fredrikstad on the 22^nd of September. 

 
Caravanima is a collaboration between E6 Østfold Media Workshop and Fredrikstad Animation Festival. Our mobile cinema is intended especially for use with children and adolescents. It is also an excellent marceting tool for promoting the festival and the media workshop in a new and different way, both locally and nationally.

In Novmber last year the caravan made headlines at the Norwegian Caravan Clubs (NOCC) website. In the article chief of trade at NOCC, Atle Hofseth, was cited saying he was pleased to hear about new uses for old caravans, and noted that this was the first time he had ever heard of one transformed into a cinema venue.
